Christmas Tip #1 – Don't Buy Rubbish & Stocking Fillers

Call me tight, call me unimaginative, call me what you want – but I’m one that has to get people the right presents. I just don’t like buying people any old tat!

My first Christmas Tip is: Don’t Buy Rubbish.

The main ethos of this tip is that you shouldn’t buy just anything because its cheap or other people tell you it’s a great gift. If it’s someone important (if not, why are you buying them a Christmas present?), take time to write down their interests and sum up their personality.

Then go to Google and start off by searching for something “christmas presents for boyfriends” if they’re your boyfriend – interchange depending on their relationship to you. Then when you find some sites search through what they have to offer within your budget and then decide if those items match their personality. If they do, save the page as a bookmark.

When you’re done searching you may have about 10-15 ideas. If you’re buying for others at the same time then think about if you’ll get discounts for buying in bulk or if you’ll get free delivery for spending over a certain amount.

Go through your list and choose the most appropriate gifts. This will make sure you don’t buy any rubbish!

Simple!
